Marcelo Petropoulos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved angel. Marcelo passed away surrounded by his family on August 31st at the age of 56 in Toronto, Ontario.
He will be missed dearly by his devoted and beloved wife, Miriam. Marcelo was a cherished father to his three children Alex (Teresa), Melina (Jose), and Nikki. Marcelo’s pride and joy were his adored grandchildren- Damian, Sebastian, Jada, Raul, Ariela, and Maliyah. He will be forever missed, loved, and remembered by them and all his family and friends.
At a young age, Marcelo began his life with his love Miriam in Rosario, Argentina. They soon welcomed their three children and moved to Canada to provide them with the best possible life. Marcelo worked hard daily to provide for his family, while teaching them valuable life lessons and creating everlasting memories. He was, and forever will be their hero.
Marcelo forever dreamed of returning to Rosario, his love for Argentina was well known by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his siblings and family in Argentina.
Marcelo will be remembered for his love and devotion to God. His comforting smile, contagious laugh, and welcoming hospitality will be missed and lovingly remembered.
During this difficult time, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made privately to the family to aid with funeral costs. Thank you.

Burial Date: September 16, 2017

Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Mausoleum & Cremation Centre, located at 4570 Yonge Street, Toronto. Visitation will be held between 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
