Margaret Elizabeth Finstad

Margaret Elizabeth (Betty) Finstad (nee Paton) passed away following a short illness, on Saturday, February 3rd, aged 84. Loving mother to five children whose unique needs she always endeavoured to understand and whose individuality she fostered. She will be sadly missed by Laurie, Robert, Mark, Kathy, Kim, and her son-in-law, James, as well as her sister, Chris, brother, Joe, and grandchildren, Emily, Mitchell, Rachel, and Julian. Predeceased by her beloved spouse, George William, her daughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth, her son-in-law, Vladimir, and sister, Hope. We know her many nephews, nieces, and in-laws are also thinking of her at this time.
The family is grateful for the loving care and attention of the doctors, nurses, and staff at The Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and would appreciate donations to the palliative care unit on her behalf.
As per the wishes of the deceased, there will be no funeral service or viewing. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
