Margaret "Jean" LeBoeuf
May 24 1933 to April 26 2019
On Friday April 26 2019, Margaret Jean LeBoeuf passed away in London Ontario.
All four children were by her side.
Jean was a month shy of her 86th birthday.
Jean was born on May 24, 1933 in Selkirk Manitoba with her twin sister Joan.
Grandma Catherine would go on to have 8 more siblings. They would all remain in and around the Winnipeg area, exceptJean who made her way to Marathon Ontario around the age of 18.
Jean met Chester LeBoeuf and they had 4 children. Kim, Pam,Jerry and Shane.
Over the years Jean did an assortment of jobs. She worked at the Everest Hotel, Bell Telephone, Hudson Bay, ran 2 restaurants, volunteered at Wilson Memorial Hospital and was a long time member of the Catholic Woman's League.
Jean was a loving soul who often gave more of herself than was ever expected. Many times she would help someone who was down on their luck by giving money, or making food for them. She truly had a love of people and we never heard her talk bad about anyone.
Luckily, she ended up in Marathon, and was known throughout the entire town. The whole town were considered her family and friends which were too many to mention. The values she taught us and the kindness she showed can be attested by many.
In lieu of flowers, Jean would want you to be kind to all, hug someone or help out the less fortunate.
If you insist on sending money please email it to Jerry's Dream Super Bowl Fund.
Just kidding donations to Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Knowing who our Mother was allows us to be at total peace with her passing.
A celebration of life will be held for Mom at Marathon Legion Branch 183 on Saturday May 18th @ 1:00 pm.
