Margaret Clara Nash (nee Kesslering) passed away early Sunday morning, March 30, 2014, in her room at the Senior’s Health Centre-North York General Hospital, Toronto, Ontario where she had lived happily for the last five years. She was 89 years of age. Margaret, who rose to Assistant Director of Nursing at the Toronto Western Hospital during the mid 1950s, was wife of the late Dr. Samuel Saul Nash. She is survived by her seven children and their partners: Carol (Thomas), Cathy (John), Patti (Paul), Norman (Audra), Lori (Brad), Lisa (Steve), Paul (Shawn); fifteen grandchildren: Sam (Melissa), Angela (Bryan), James (Kathleen), Doug, Julia, Erica, Chris, Carl, Joel, Mik, Sarina, Claire, Jackson, Evi, Max; and her six great grandchildren: Audrey, Emmett, Corina, Ayla, Eleanor and Jeremy. She will be especially missed by her best friend, Elena, and her friend’s son, Joe, during their daily morning discussions in the sunroom. A private memorial service will be held for Margaret later this spring.
