BOUGADIS Maria,
Maria was born on September 9, 1939, in Mistras, Laconia, Greece, to Vassilios Sotirakos and Christina Lambrinos. She had six siblings; Jim, Stella, Helen, Peter, Nick, and Theodore.
Maria moved to Toronto Canada at the age of 16. At the age of 21, she married Efstratios (Steve) Bougadis on July 15, 1961, and was married for 62 years.

Maria was a devoted mother who gave birth to her two sons, Bill, and Gus Bougadis. She was a loving mother-in-law to Angie Tzanis and Tiffany Cammidge. Additionally, Maria was a grandmother to Bill and Angie's children: Steven Christopher, Aris (Aristotle) Evan, and Mary-Anthy. All of whom she adored.

Maria passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2023, after bravely battling cancer for the last five years. She was known for her beautiful smile, kindness, singing voice, sense of humor, impeccable homemaking, beautiful garden, great style, grace, and generosity.
The world has lost a truly beautiful soul.
She will always be in our thoughts and hearts.
