Maria D. Teixeira passed away peacefully at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. She was born to Jose and Sarafina Rodrigues on March 2, 1932 in Funchal, Madeira.
Maria was pre-deceased by her spouse Gabriel Teixeira and will be lovingly remembered by her sons Joe Teixeira, Albert (Angelina) Teixeira, Mike (Lidia) Teixeira, her grandchildren Daniel Teixeira, David (Emily) Teixeira, Melinda (Peter) Teixeira, Lindsay (Scott) Teixeira, Brandon Teixeira and her great-grandchildren Julie Cappuccitti, Owen Teixeira and Reece Teixeira. Maria was a natural born musician, she loved to play the piano and was a passionate early childcare provider.
Please join us for a celebration of Maria's life which will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at St. John's Dixie Rec Hall, 737 Dundas Street E, Mississauga ON, L4Y 2B5 "But we remember now in love, your life from start to end, and we're just glad we knew you, as Mother, and as Friend."
