Maria Dolores Vasquez

Maria Dolores Vasquez Herrera, 77, of Barrie, Ontario, formerly of Guatemala, CA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2020, surrounded by her family. Born April 16, 1943, she is predeceased by her parents, Matilde Santos Cuellar and Jose Luis Herrera Barrera, and her late husband of 39 years, Hermenegildo Augusto Vasquez Davila. Cherished mother to her three children, Randall Vasquez, Silvia Lamb, Karina Vasquez, and their spouses Nicole Masters, Kevin Lamb, Paul Gaudet. Much loved grandmother to her grandson, Anwar Ouzi-Vasquez and to her step grand-daughter Alexandra. Dear sister to Angela and Marco Antonio, and late siblings Teresa, Pedro and Ulises. Maria was loving and compassionate both with her family and loved ones. She touched many people’s lives in so many caring ways. Her career in Early Childhood Education was an excellent choice for she was able to express and spread great love to everyone she encountered. Maria was a role model to her children showing great courage and tenacity in every situation. Maria was immensely proud of all her family and leaves a multitude of beautiful and happy memories.
