It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Cardoso, age 60, on Monday, February 24, 2025. Mario was a devoted husband, father, and friend, whose passion for life and love for his family left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

A Master Electrician by trade, Mario was deeply dedicated to his work, always fascinated by the ever-evolving world of technology, especially advancements within his field and the latest gadgets. His expertise and commitment to excellence were evident in every project he touched. Outside of work, Mario had an adventurous spirit, enjoying classic rock music, travelling ,boating, and especially the thrill of going full speed on his Sea-Doo. He also had a great love for fine dining, often savoring meals with his family and concluding his evenings with a glass of wine.

Above all, Mario’s greatest love was his family. He worked tirelessly to ensure his loved ones could enjoy life to its fullest, and his devotion never wavered. He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon, sons Ryan and Kevin, and daughter Caitlyn. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Bernice, brothers-in-law Darrell, Hermenegildo and Christian, nephew Rui, and nieces Raquel and Juliana. He was preceded in death by his sister Margarida, his parents Maria and Manuel, sister-in-law Lisa, and father-in-law Hayward.

Mario was a truly remarkable man, known for his bravery, strength, and resilience. He faced each challenge with grace and unwavering determination. No matter what life threw his way, he remained the charming, compassionate, generous man we all cherished, continuing to inspire those around him until the very end.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 8, 2025 at St. John’s Parish (16066 Gore Rd, Caledon) at Noon.

In his memory, we will continue to honor his legacy of love, hard work, and passion for life.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the NEUROFIBROMATOSIS SOCIETY OF ONTARIO.
