PAULL, Marion (Ruth) - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marion (Ruth) Paull (nee Howard), on Friday, November 23, 2018; at the age of 92. Born to parents Thomas and Lydia Howard (nee Baily), on May 21, 1926; Ruth was the middle of five children, and is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Dode, Edward, Billy, and Norm. Ruth is preceded in death by her first husband, and the father of her children, Richard Frise; and by her dearly loved second husband, Frank Paull. She will be forever remembered by her beloved children: Rick (late wife Dorothy), Ron (wife Lucille), Randy (wife Pauline), Robyn (husband Bryan), and Ray (wife Sharon). Ruth will be remembered lovingly by her grandchildren: Cheryl (husband Rob), Rick, Chris, Matthew, Jessica, Derek (wife Ashlee); and her great grandchildren: Tyler, Camaron, Josh, and Emma. A constant source of joy, Ruth will be remembered for her bright, genuine smile; and her soft, loving heart. She made friends easily, and was as feisty as she was funny, always putting those around her at ease with her cheerful presence. She enjoyed travelling across North America with her late husband Frank, making many happy memories, and even a few dollars, in her favorite city: Las Vegas. With a passion for gardening, and a talented green thumb, the family will remember her fondly when we see fresh flowers, particularly lilies: her favorite. Our family extends our sincerest thanks to the staff at Roberta Place Long Term Care for their care and kindness over the last few years. A service honouring the life of Ruth Paull will be held at Jennett Funeral and Cremation Centre, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie, on December 1, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. Ruth will later rest peacefully with her parents at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto.
