Marion passed away on October 2, 2022 in Kitchener, Ontario surrounded by her family. After a long fought battle with cancer, she was finally able to heal and be with those who she loved who passed before her, including her mother and brother-in-law Steve. Marion was born in Germany and moved to Canada when she was four years old with her parents, Margarit and Edmund, and her sister Chris. Years later, her family welcomed another sister, Michele. After settling in Kitchener, Ontario, she went on to have three children, Carey, Blair, and Quinn, four grandchildren, Brandon, Alex, Lincoln, and Logan, and one great-grandchild, Dexter (with another on the way).
Marion's greatest accomplishment was obtaining her real estate license and being able to work side-by-side with her best friend. She would often joke that she could have been a doctor and was very proud of her children's many accomplishments. If anyone is looking for a sign of Marion as they walk through their days without her, know that you will likely find her within music. Marion has a beautiful legacy that will be highlighted through the successes of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
There will be no funeral services for Marion as her family wishes to grieve their loss in private. If you wish to send a gift to the family, we ask instead that you please choose to donate to your preferred cancer charity in her honour.
