Marjorie Phyllis Boulter

April 28, 1925 — March 26, 2018

BOULTER, Marjorie Phyllis – Our beloved Marnie passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, on Monday, March 26th, 2018. Born Marjorie Phyllis Chaytor on April 28th, 1925 in Chamberlains, Newfoundland. She joined the RCAF in 1943 where she met her soulmate Sherman Boulter. After the war they married in Moncton, New Brunswick in 1946. Sherman remained in the service and they were posted to White Horse, Moncton and Borden, Ontario. While at Borden, Marnie worked for Maple Leaf Services. In 1968 they bought a house in what is now Centre Vespra. Marnie later worked for Tower Dept Store. When they retired, they bought a holiday retreat in Florida for the winter months. Marnie was an avid bridge player, attaining the rank of junior master. She was predeceased by her husband in 2007. She is survived by her loving family, Jerry, Beverly and son-in-law Dr. Ross Harrison. Granddaughter Jillian of Nanaimo, B.C. Her son Terry and wife Karen of Melborne, Australia, and grandchildren Tim, Victoria and Taylor. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date in June 2018 when the family reunites. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe through the Jennett Funeral & Cremation Centre (Barrie), Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.funeralhome.on.ca
