Marlene Javier (Javier) Valdez

Marlene “Lingling”  Javier Valdez,40 who passed away in the night of May 4, 2021. She was surrounded by her loved ones at Humber River Hospital.Her funeral service will be held this Sunday,9th of May 2021 at Forest Lawn Museum at Yonge Street North York Ontario.
Marlene was born on 9th December,1980 in San Quintin Pangasinan Philippines to Esmeralda and Manuel Javier.She is the middle child with two brothers Marvin as the eldest and Jojo as the youngest.
Lingling will be most remembered for her amazing cooking; after all, she owned a karienderia back home called “Lingling’s Canteen.” Her friends and family know Lingling as hardworking, palabiro, and friendly, who loved to laugh and bring joy even in the most difficult times.
In 2015, she decided to join thousands of Filipinos to work abroad to pursue a better life for her and her loved ones. She worked in Hong Kong for 4 years to support her parents living in her hometown of San Quintin, Pangasinan.
Then in 2019, she arrived in Canada to work.
Ling ling will surely be missed by people around her specially her family here in Canada.
