Mary Lazaridis

It is with great sadness that we announce that in the early hours of August 19th, 2024, Mary Lazaridis (nee Kotsifas), passed away surrounded by loved ones. Mary is survived by her beloved son, Steven Lazaridis, to whom she was devoted, as well as her parents Panagiotis and Ioanna Kotsifas. She was also a cherished sister to Jim Kotsifas (Nicole) and caring aunt to her nephew Theron Kotsifas, and niece Adara Kotsifas (Matthew). She will be sorely missed by her Aunt Stratigoula Bachoumis, cousins George Bachoumis (Mary) and Joanne Pierrakos (Panagiotis), and their families as well as many friends and extended family in Canada and Greece.

Mary was a source of warmth and support, always putting others first. She made a positive impact on everyone she encountered. Her selfless nature and compassionate spirit will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by those lives she touched. 

Visitation and funeral will take place at:
Sts. Constantine & Helen Church (1 Brookhaven Dr., Trethewey Dr., west of Black Creek Dr.)
Visitation: Wednesday August 21st from 2pm to 6pm. 
Funeral Service: Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 10am. 

She will then be laid to rest at Glenview Memorial Gardens (7541 Hwy. 50, north of Steeles Ave W.).For those who would like, in lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary's memory to: Diabetes Canada
