Maurice James Bulger

The death occurred in Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, March 19th, 2023 of Maurice James Bulger, formerly of Burton, Lot 7, aged 56. Maurice was born in O'Leary, PEI on September 22nd, 1966, loving son of Ronald and Velma (Clements) Bulger. Maurice was father to Raphael, Montreal, and dear brother to Loretta (Tim) Ross, Mill River East and Michael Bulger, Burton. Predeceased by his sister, Brenda Bulger Hackett, and brother, Bruce. Maurice is remembered fondly by friends and family including many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his Toronto family, especially his good friend Jonathan Pakozdi, who Maurice spoke highly of, and we appreciate his kindness and help especially during this difficult time. Maurice spent most of his life working and living in Alberta, Nova Scotia and Ontario, but loved the big city of Toronto the most. During his time in Toronto, Maurice was cast in the movie “Downsizing” starring Matt Damon, which was a cherished life highlight. Maurice was known for his sense of humour, and loved calling to tell people his latest joke which were often met with a belly laugh. Maurice had incredible compassion for animals, and always had pets throughout his life which he cherished greatly, most recently his cat, Divoc, who was his company throughout the pandemic.
In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family.
