Maurice Harvey

Harvey, Maurice passed away on Friday December 29, 2017 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in his 92nd year. Maurice was born in Wales on February 16th, 1925. He served honorably in WWII before immigrating to Canada in 1955. Maurice spent his career as a beloved teacher and coach (MM Robinson and BCHS) and was involved for many years in the Burlington Light Opera Society. He loved working with his hands, gardening, travelling, singing, Scottish highland dancing, and playing chess.
Maurice leaves behind three children (Terry, Amanda and Martin) and 4 grandchildren (Devon, Kirsten, Joshua and Hannah).
He will be dearly missed by his family as well as his many friends in the community and residence at Pearl & Pine retirement.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at The Queen's Head (400 Brant St. Burlington) On Sunday January 14th from 2-5pm
