OBITUARY
Mavis Dorothy Edwards passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14th, 2019.
She was the loving wife of Peter Edwards who predeceased her in 1984. We are happy as it is our belief that they are re-united
She was the beloved mother of Shirley Dorothy Edwards and her spouse Don Cherry and Barbara Lewars and her spouse Dave Lewars.
She was the beloved sister of Ray Evans and sister-in-law to Joyce Evans.
She was the beloved sister to Iris and her late husband George Fishwick.
She was the beloved grandmother of Jason Edwards, and Matthew Lewars and his wife Carmen, and Morgan and her husband Cameron Willox.
She was also the great grandmother to Matthews children Aileen and Hazel and Morgan's son Clancy.
She was the beloved daughter of Dorothy and Albert Evans and daughter-in-law to Pauline and Donald Edwards.
She was a beloved aunt to Helen Sheridan and her husband Phil and great aunt to their children Jamie and Sam. She was a beloved aunt to Steven and his wife Tracy Navarre. And she was a beloved aunt to Ian and his wife Emma Evans-Fitzgerald and great aunt to their children Lauren and Daniel.
She was a beloved aunt to Paul Fishwick and his sister Dawn Fishwick.
And, she will be missed by her very good friends and neighbours, Sam and Aida Vieira.
She was well respected and liked by her colleagues at the Ministry of Transportation where she worked for many years before her retirement.
And she was outlived by her beloved cat Chance .
A Memorial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 11 am at Hawthorn Woods Long Term Care Home, 9257 Goreway Drive in Brampton.
