Maynard was pre-deceased by his parents, his first wife Kathryn and his long time companion Doreen. Also five brothers, one sister, and one son-in-law. He is survived by his five children, two sisters and one brother. Maynard had sixteen grandchildren and twenty- nine great grand children, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Maynard was born and raised in the Brinston area, he relocated to Toronto area 56 years ago. Maynard was an avid fisherman and gardener. He was also a member of the Legion, the Lions and the Army & Navy. Interment of remains June 20, 2016 at 4:00 pm in Dundela, Ontario.
