Melvin "Mel" Quan

With the utmost sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Melvin (Mel) Quan on March 7, 2022.  Mel was a beloved and devoted father to his daughter, Samantha and son to his mother, Mee Quan (pre-deceased by his father, Martin Quan).  A proud Canadian, Mel was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on March 1, 1961 and was raised in Toronto, Ontario with his siblings, Marilyn, Melinda, Marvin and Marion (Tony). Mel was also an uncle to Jonathan (Alessia), Denny, Trevor and Madison and a great uncle to Chloe and Noah.

Mel was loved by all who knew him. His generosity, kind spirit and sense of humour will be missed forever, but always remembered.  Mel found great happiness in being surrounded by loved ones at family gatherings, weekly lunch dates with his daughter and Sunday Night Football.

Visitation will be held at 10am on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at the Forest Lawn Mausoleum and Crematorium on 4570 Yonge Street.
