Michael Gardner

The resilient Michael Gardner encountered a sudden and brief battle with cancer, facing it with undaunted courage. A mere three weeks after his diagnosis, on September 17, 2023, he found his rest at Credit Valley Hospital. He was the husband of 41-years to Mary-Anne (nee Smith) and loving father to Michelle Gardner.

Michael was the son of Leroy and the late Monica and brother to Paul (Natasha) and Donna (Ken). He was the brother in law to the late Robert, Michael (Cathy), Peter (Cathy), Paul (Lina) and Therese (Ed). Mike's radiant warmth will be profoundly missed, yet fondly remembered by an extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a close-knit circle of friends.

In lieu of flowers, Michael’s family would appreciate donations to Trillium Health Partners Foundation .

A private burial service and celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
