Michael Gleeson, resident of Ancaster and formerly of Tobermory passed away April 19th with his family by his side at the age of 81. Mike will be sadly missed by his wife Jan (nee Campbell), daughter Kelly, son-in-law Fred Thompson, grandchildren, Connor and Delaney, brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Reyes and cousin Claire. Mike was born in Petrolia and moved to Tobermory where he and Jan resided for 30 years. He worked at the Ministry of Natural Resources and then at Parks Canada as a Park Warden. After he retired, he spent many hours on the golf course where he honed his skills and gave golf tips (whether solicited or not). The family would like to thank Dr. Kazemi and the oncology staff at Juravinski for their excellent care and to Dr. Yasinian for her care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be arranged when social distancing is a thing of the past. In memorium through the Canadian Junior Golf Association's charitable First Swing program through CanadaHelps is greatly appreciated.
