Michael Sheldon McKinnon

Michael passed away on October 18 after a courageous battle with ALS, with Wanda his loving wife of 41 years by his side. 

Michael was born to Angus and Mary of New Waterford, Nova Scotia into a large family of cousins, aunts and uncles. Michael will also be missed by Wanda’s son Elijah, his wife Sharon, and grandkids Jai and Milla.

Michael had life long relationships with friends from his youth as well as co-workers from his 40-year career with Bell Canada. Wanda wishes to particularly thank Craig Preston, a friend of 50 years and brother to Michael, for his support during the days when his illness progressed rapidly. 

Michael was a simple, unassuming and sometimes complicated man, who loved dogs, reading, travelling, cars, Swiss Chalet, and collecting tools he never used. 

Thank you, Michael, for your unwavering love, and many happy memories we shared with endless gratitude.
