Mildred Bishop Knox

Passed away peacefully at Maple Villa Long Term Care in Burlington on January 29th 2021. Loving wife of Cornelius James Knox. Beloved mother of Sean Bishop. Proud Kookie Grandma of Justin Knox (Elanie), Corey Katz (Melissa), Jenelle Knox, and Sarah Perdomo (Matthew). Proud Great Kookie Grandma of Peyton, Dahlia, Jahzi, Jalen, Violet, and Isaac.

Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Dora Smith, and her sister Betty Commando. She is survived by her siblings Freida, Charlie, Milton, Buster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mildred was born in Timmins, Ontario, and moved to Toronto as a young woman. Mildred returned to South Porcupine where she and her husband settled into retirement. She was a very proud and active member of the Ladies Auxillary, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 287 in South Porcupine, and volunteered with Timmins District Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
