Mildred Joan Hardy

Mildred "Millie" Joan Hardy, 65, of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on June 30th, 2018, at Royal Victoria Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario. Born February 25th, 1953, in St. John's, Nfld, she is predeceased by her Mother Joan and her father Cyril, Sisters Patricia (Stephen) and Barbara and her Brother David. Millie was a beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many. Her passion for laughter and love for animals was her ambition every day. Millie enjoyed her winters in Florida and spending her time with family and friends. She made continuous efforts to support local animal shelters by making donations and sharing her time with those who needed a friend.  She is survived by her Husband Larry, her two children Tony (Rachel) Perrin of Angus, ON and Jason (Deanna) Perrin of Chilliwack, BC, her 5 step children Douglas, Kevin (Erin), Melissa (Rob), Dianna (Tim) & Katherine (Mike) all of Ontario, Sisters Veronica (Colin), Mary (Angus), Frances (Art) & Hilda (Gene), Brothers Cyril (Agnes), Ed (Cathy), Mike (Lisa) & Bob (Sharon), Grandchildren Ryan, Ella, Bree, Nya, Liam, Caiti, Meg, Gwen, Kayla, Logan, Jordan, Mason & Asha, a large circle of Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Ontario and her beloved pets Jake (dog) & Ceba (cat). Visitations will be held Wednesday, July 4th 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm and Thursday, July 5th 12pm-2pm and service on Thursday, July 5th at 2pm. These will take place at Jennett Funeral & Cremation LTD, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie, ON.
