It is with great sadness that the family of Mitchell Krawczyk announces his passing on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the age of 79. Mitchell will be lovingly remembered by his children, Gregory and Nancy, by Aymee (Tony) and by his sister Jean (Mel) Clark, his nieces and nephews Michael, Terri, David and Sharon and all family and friends whose lives he touched. Gramps will be remembered fondly by Ashley, Antonia and Talia. Mitchell was predeceased by his sister Wanda Krawczyk. A long-time resident of Maple & Richmond Hill, Mitch was involved with minor hockey and Scouts. He was a draftsman and construction supervisor for various engineering firms throughout his career. He worked on projects such as the Sheppard Subway and 407 ETR, oversaw the reconstruction of the York St. Slip in Toronto as well as projects in Antigua and St. Vincent & the Grenadines. He liked building things and renovating whether for himself or friends, he also loved the Caribbean and diving through which he made friends around the world. He travelled to many countries and at one time even owned a Dive Shop in St. Vincent. Whether being with family or friends he liked nothing better than having a good visit and a good beer. A Celebration of Life for Mitch is scheduled for June 9th at Holland Marsh Wineries.
