Monique Villeneuve

Monique passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital.   She was the wife of Richard Musty, best friend to her daughter Amber Krista Musty, MeeMaw of Amber’s cats Lily and Bandit, and enjoyed the companionship of her loyal dog, Eddie.  Dear daughter of Theresa Brisson and much-loved sister of Guy, Roch (Debbie), and Patrick.  Predeceased by her father Patrick Villeneuve.

Monique was a fighter, she battled various health issues throughout her lifetime. Her determination always saw her through. Even with her stay in the Civic Hospital ICU, she continued fighting right until the end. Her passing came as a surprise, as it was unrelated to previous health issues, and was not anticipated by her family.

Monique will be forever remembered for her passionate enthusiasm for flowers and plants, love of reading, watching the birds and decorating the Christmas tree at a professional level every year.  Monique’s family wishes to extended their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Ottawa Civic Hospital ICU for their care and compassion.

A celebration of Monique’s life will be planned for a later date.   If desired, donations in Monique’s memory can be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
