Morgan Dwight Keats

Morgan Keats passed away peacefully Saturday July 2, 2022, at the age of 64 in Toronto, Ontario. At his request, no service will be held. Thank you to the amazing staff at Casey House who had the utmost compassion and fabulous care for Morgan during his short stay.

Morgan was born in Gander, Newfoundland, and raised in Botwood, NL.  He moved to downtown Toronto and made it his home for the rest of his life.  He loved Jesus, family, friends, his cats, music, entertainment, wine, good food and woodworking and was well known in his community. He is the son of the late Francis (Harry) and Rita Mabel Keats (nee Hamlyn) of Botwood, Newfoundland. Beloved youngest brother of 9 siblings Late Lon (Lorraine) Keats, Tom, Hubert (Andrene), Samuel (Allyson), late Edward (Cynthia), Lawrence, Randy (Florence), Catherine Sharron (Gerald), late Rexton. Absolute beloved uncle and great uncle and friend to many including his best friends Bruce B and Donna Bursey and many, many others, too numerous to name them all.

Beloved Uncle to: Sharon, Debbie, Donna, Tracey, Pam, Thomas, Heather, Michael, Stephanie, Christa, Joshua, Sarah, Aaron, Kevin, Chris, Michelle, Lisa, Carolyn, Cindy, John, Tabitha, Renee, Ryan, Ricky, Barbara. Along with his numerous great nieces, nephews and spouses who were all touched by Morgan’s love for them as he brought light to everyone’s day with his sense of living life to its fullest, full of adventure, joy, laughter and kindness.

We are all heartbroken but know he is now with his best friend in Heaven.
