Murray Lynn Lively

With broken hearts we are sad to announce that on March 28, 2023, Murray Lively aged 76, of Mississauga, Ontario passed away.

Born in South Maitland, Nova Scotia Murray moved to Ontario when he was 16 years old. He was predeceased by: his parents Henry and Dot Lively (Laffin); and his siblings, Earl (Alice), Mae (Ross), Edith (Jamie), Joan, Evelyn, Ethel and Grant and sister-in-law Lynn.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy (Spry); daughter Wanita and daughter Jennifer (Joel) and 5 cherished grandchildren Mackenzie, Blake, Ethan, Cole and Katie; and his brother’s-in-law Wayne Waller, Allan Spry, Garry Spry (Liz), Rony Spry (Kathy), and sister’s-in-law Judy Lively, Donna Buchanan (Johnny) and Gail Bemiss (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Murray was a proud family man, who will always be remembered for his love of his family and friends. His 2 daughters are honoured and consider themselves to be the luckiest girls in the world to have had such a great man as their father. He will be forever loved, missed, and remembered always!

Murray was married to his soul mate Judy for almost 53 years. They raised a happy family and are very proud of their grandchildren.

“To live a life filled with love and family and friends, is a life well lived.” Murray lived a good life.

He will be loved always and forever.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm at 1195 Queensway East (Corner of Queensway & Stanfield) Unit 24 (upstairs) to celebrate and honour Murray.
