Neilson Kij Bolestridge

Following his short yet mighty battle with Leukaemia Neilson Bolestridge passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Saturday, July 13, 2024, with family by his side. He was just 70 years old. 

Neil is pre-deceased by his father Ernest, mother Daphne Griffiths-O’Neil, brothers Thorson and Karlson, and is survived by brothers Erikson, Kijson and Keirson, and sisters Karen Chase (Frank) and Krista, as well as his many nephews and nieces and their families.

Neil was a quiet and private person. He loved tinkering with electronics, watching movies, old TV shows and sitcoms, and listening to music. He was best known and regarded as a serious e-bike enthusiast. 

Since retiring from OCTranspo in 2010, Neil spent his time traveling and riding his e-bike all over North America, and enjoyed the warmth of the sun in Florida during the winters.

Always in our hearts, Neil will be missed.
