Nestor Camposano Gardon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nestor Gardon, a cherished husband, loving father, and adored grandfather. Nestor departed this life peacefully on February 15th, 2024, after a short battle with liver cancer. 

Nestor was born to Fe and Ildefonso Gardon (✞) on March 27,1957. He was the youngest of three siblings, Edgardo Gardon and Virginia Bonos (✞). He leaves behind wife Cory (they have been married for almost 47 years), sons Rommuel (spouse: Arlyn), Rammil (spouse: Joanne), Paolo (spouse: Sandra), and daughter Tisa (spouse: Kevin). Nestor was also a beloved grandfather to 6 grandchildren - Nathan, Danica, Noah, Juan, Jacob, and Sophia. He was a cherished uncle and brother-in-law to his extended family. He was a great friend, beloved by neighbours, brothers and sisters from Couples for Christ, and colleagues from work. 

Nestor worked in IT as an Application Consultant for decades, traveling across Southeast Asia. But beyond his professional accomplishments, Nestor is a dreamer, and a storyteller who wasn’t above building things, telling fantastical stories, and playing make believe with his children, and later, his grandchildren. He worked hard to provide for his family, and nurtured his children’s dreams, all of whom share his passion for the arts.

A celebration of Nestor's life will be held on March 2nd at St Benedict Parish, starting with a Funeral Mass at 11am and followed by a reception soon after.
