DAOUST, NORMAN GILLES passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2017 in his 63rd year. Loving husband of Nancy, nee Doucet. Beloved father of Liane (Imad Chioua) and Michel (Karine Verdon). Brother of Jean-Paul, Diane (Gerry), Lise (Gilles), David (Louise), Guy, Daniel (Stephanie). He will also be missed by his large extended family. Proud grandfather of Sophia and Maysa (From Liane and Imad) and Loik and Noah (from Michel and Karine). Son of the late Estelle (Bradley) Daoust and Paul Daoust.
Norman worked at Inco/Vale for 27 years, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed being with family while camping, hunting, fishing and travelling. He also was a proud motorcycle rider. He never let his prolonged illness keep him from living and enjoying life.
A celebration of life will be held on May 12, 2017, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Ste Anne des Pins: 14 Beech Street, Sudbury ON.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Norman’s name, for the creation of a home garden at Norman’s home, at “Les Serres Robert Plante Greenhouse.” 613-835-9266 or Noah Daoust Bursary.
