COUTURE- Norman Albert of Port Colborne passed away at the Port Colborne General Hospital on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the age of 90 years.
Father of Norman Jr., Dave, Greg (Amber) of Port Colborne, and Debra Eady (Greg) of London, ON; grandfather of Evan Eady, Leigha Eady (Mason) also of London, ON; Uncle of Jeanette Kalynuik, Jacqueline Crawford, John (Dorothy) MacDonald, Heidi (Dale) Selkirk; and brother in law to Roberta Clark (late Carl).
He is predeceased by his wife, Alda (nee Finnen) in 2018; parents, Amie and Alice Couture; and siblings, Lawrence, George, Hugh, Jeanette MacDonald, Marie Matheson, Arthur; and niece, Patricia Clout.
Norm was born on August 9, 1930 in Humberstone. He began work at the Humberstone Shoe Factory and then worked for many years at INCO in Port Colborne until his retirement in 1984. His retirement was spent enjoying his lifelong passion of hunting and fishing.
Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a celebration of Norman’s life when gathering is allowed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Humane Society, or to the charity of one’s choice.
