Orlando Macapinlac

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, Engineer Orlando Deang Macapinlac, at the age of 79 years old, passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital, Ontario, Canada. He was survived by his loving wife Brigida Macapinlac, His children, Marie Michelle Avila and Michael Macapinlac, His son-in-Law, Aris Avila and Daughter-in-Law Jennifer Macapinlac. He was especially fond of his grandchildren, Arielle Rose Avila, Anthony Benedict Avila, Arnauld Kenneth Avila, James Macapinlac and John Macapinlac.

He was a retired Chief Electrical Engineer of a cargo vessel and has travelled to European Countries during his time. He was the MacGyver of the family; he loved to fix any appliance or build something from scratch. He loved cars; particularly to disassemble one and put it back together, just because he wanted to learn more about it.   He very rarely got upset with his children and grandchildren; all kids love him because of his generosity and his kind words. He was a joker, all smiles and laughter when he was around. We will never forget his dance to show that he was well and with no health issues.

Memorial Service will be held on Dec 2, 2022, Friday at 6pm to 8pm at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium – 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga
