It is with deep sadness; we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Pamela Karen Wilkins. Born on August 10th, 1956, Pam passed away on March 12th, 2025 surrounded by her loves, Jim, Shelley and Kristine. Cherished partner to Jim, amazing Mom to Shelley and Kristine, adoring Nanny to Angelina, Brayden and Finn, and biggest supporter of her gaggle of sisters, Sandi, Terry, Ann, Lyn and Sue, known for their loud boisterous connection to one another, and sweet auntie Pam to all 12 of her nieces and nephews.
Pam had a deep passion for animals from a young age, dedicating her life to their care. She worked as a groomer at Cormack’s Animal Clinic before spending 21+ years with the Animal Control of Mississauga, where she rescued and nurtured countless creatures (many in her home)- racoons, squirrels, birds, puppies, kittens, a goat and more.
Pam was the most caring and support person, especially to her daughters Shelley and Kristine, showing them unconditional love. Her kindness was limitless, extending to both people and animals alike. Pam was such a creative soul. Her talents, spanning from knitting & felting to painting and much more, amazed all who knew her. Simple joys, like a perfect cup of coffee, a captivating TV series or visiting her favourite wool shop, filled her heart. Her knitting kept her busy most days, and her lovingly crafted pieces are now treasure by her entire family.
Whether through her creativity, her warmth, or her joyful laugh, Pam had a unique way of brightening the world, leaving a lasting impact on those who were fortunate enough to know her. She started every conversation with “Hey You” and ended it with “Love You”.
Pam was a quiet, simple soul who found joy in a peaceful life with Jim. Her love, generosity, laughter, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed. Godspeed Pam.
Donations may be made in her honour to the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
