In Loving Memory Of Pantelis “Peter” Tantakis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Tantakis, who left us on December 8th at the age of 81

Peter was born on January 1st 1943 in Prasino, Florian, Greece and was a great father to Christina, grandfather to the Gelera/Bairaktaris family a dear brother to Anna Philippov, and most importantly a great sweetie to Marife. He passed away peacefully with his wife Marife Tantakis by his side who always took care of him and will forever love him. Peter will be remembered for his endless kindness, laughter and love that we will all cherish forever.

Peter was a great butcher but was even a better drummer. He always loved working on the garden every summer. Peter also enjoyed traveling to many places by bus or plane and sometimes by boat. He enjoyed every bit of his life wherever he was. Peter always believed there were no other problems in life besides your health. Nothing will ever matter when it comes to your own health. He lived everyday with his motto “Just pray to be healthy and everything will be alright”

St John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church
1385 Warden Avenue
December 13th, 1024

Visitation : 10 am to 11 am

Funeral Service: 11am

Interment: Pine Hills Cemetery

Though he is no longer with us. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
