Patricia Flynn ("It's Pat" as she would say) passed away peacefully at Peter D. Clarke Residence on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the age of 88. Pat was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario by her parents Maurice and Mary (O'Donnell) Flynn.
Pat was the much loved and cherished mother of Kevin King (Kimberly), Maureen Singh (Paul), David King (Rose Marie), and Kathleen Hall – (Leo, passed). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Janique, Michael, Jason, Melanie, Jason V and Rachel, Dalton and Dustin and her great-grandchildren Peyton and Zoe. Pat was the youngest of the three Flynn sisters: Mary (late) and Stella (Ted Rogers).
She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. She was a longtime employee of Scouts Canada, Main Branch Ottawa. Pat volunteered with many charitable organizations and clubs in Ottawa including the Irish Society, Friends of the National Arts Centre and all levels of government. She loved to get together with her friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1:00 - 3:30 pm at the Westboro Legion Branch 480 at 391 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario.
A special thank-you to the staff at Peter D. Clarke Residence who provided a loving and supportive home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Mission or Ottawa Food Bank would be welcomed.
