Patricia Heather Harrington (nee Cotter)
Patricia peacefully took her final bow on August 30, 2022, after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, on August 20, 1946, Patricia was known for her love of theatre and traveling. Whether it was a part of the Drama Club at Paul Harvey H.S., choir instructor at church, or attending her grandchildren's performances on the stage or the field. Patricia was there for them all and the first to give a standing ovation. When it came to travel, she was always up for an adventure with her friends and family, whether by plane, train, boat, or automobile. Patricia loved to travel so much that she wrote numerous articles for travel magazines.
She was a strong and loving mother and will be deeply missed by her daughters, Julie Harrington and Tracy Vrkljan (Tony). She was a devoted grandma to Tricia (Kobus), Andrew, Ivan, Jack, Zachary, and a great grandma to Israel. She was predeceased by her parents, Amelia (Mildred) Hibberd, Howard Cotter, and amazing stepdad Walter Jack Carroll.
Patricia will be fondly remembered in the corporate relocation and real estate industry for assisting hundreds of families relocating throughout North America.
She will be greatly missed by her close friends and travel entourage, Pat, Phyllis, Linda, Dianne, Becky, and Donna.
As per Patricia's wishes, a private cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will occur later. Special thanks to Carpenter Hospice for caring for Patricia in her final days. A donation to the Salvation Army or Carpenter Hospice in Burlington would be appreciated instead of flowers - https://hike-for-carpenter-hospice.raisely.com/julie-harrington
