Patricia Masters, 85, of Toronto, Ontario, formerly of Cumberland Foreside, Maine and Church Point, Nova Scotia and Mendham, N.J., died peacefully in her sleep on June 14, 2021, at the Chartwell Trilogy Residence in Toronto. Born March 7, 1936, in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, she is predeceased by her parents, George and Agnes Carrigan, and her late husband of 54 years, George Masters. Pat attended St. Francis Xavier College in Nova Scotia, becoming a laboratory technologist. She met her future husband George at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Ontario. With the births of her children Scott and Kelly, Pat became a homemaker, living in a variety of locales in Canada and the United States. She loved travel and museums and was an avid reader and volunteer in her church and community. Survivors include her older brother Len Carrigan (NZ) and her two children, Scott (wife Shelley) Masters of Toronto and Kelly (husband John) Masters of Portland, Maine and grandsons Jake and Erik. The family will do a private service and memorial at a date to be determined. The family wishes to thank those who helped to support Pat after her move back to Canada, especially the kindness and care of the 4th Floor staff at Chartwell Trilogy in her final days.
