SIMMONDS, Patricia Anne - It is with profound sadness the family of Patricia Anne Simmonds of Elmvale announce her passing from this world on Friday, September 10th, 2021, with her devoted family at her side. Patricia was born and raised in Penetanguishene, the loving Daughter of Gerome and Rita Quesnelle. Devoted Wife of 41 years to Graham Simmonds, cherished Mother of her two children, Jeffrey (Laura) and Anastacia-Joy (Kennith), dearest Grandmother of her 3 Grandchildren Noah, Poppy, and Audrey. Patricia was a dedicated Wife and Mother first and foremost. She treasured her Husband, Children and Grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma to her 3 beautiful Grandchildren. Although she suffered greatly from illness for over 40 years, she had a vivacious personality, cheeky, quick witted, loving, generous, empathetic, compassionate, one of a kind diamond. Her endless quiet strength, with her frontier embarking gentle spirit, lit the hearts of the people she touched. She walked fearlessly and humbly in faith; she will be deeply missed by the ones who had the privilege to truly know her. A graveside service will be held at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Penetanguishene on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie.
