It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Charles Pulford, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend on February 8, 2025 at the age of 66 at Joseph Brant Hospital.
Patrick, affectionately known as ‘Pat’, was born in Oakville, Ontario on December 23, 1958 to his parents William and Shirley. He is survived by his sons, David (Alyssa), James (Aly) and their mother Tracey. Pat came from a large family of nine siblings including Linda, David (Katherine), Michael, Paul (Marlene), Daniel (Kerrie), Christine (Norm), Peter (Sandi) and was predeceased by his brother Billy. He was a proud grandfather to Ella with another granddaughter due to arrive in May, along with his grandpups Nala, Rue and the late Leia. He was a cherished uncle, friend and neighbor to many.
Pat was proud of his Oakville roots, he attended Blakelock high school and worked hard until retirement at the Ford plant. The true love of his life was a dog named Otis who he trained to fetch beers. His passion was supporting his sons in all they pursued, particularly in their hockey careers. David and James reflect fondly on their childhood memories with their Dad, especially cottage trips and fishing on the dock.
Pat’s sons would like to express gratitude towards the staff of 6 South at Joseph Brant Hospital, chiefly Dr. Gupta and his nurse Antonio.
A private celebration of life will be held in March. In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation in his name to the CAMH foundation or ALS Superfund in support of a relative.
