It is with heartbroken sadness Jeff, Ed (Ruth) and Debby announce the passing of our Mom, Paula Banks, Friday, April 26, 2024.
Paula leaves us with lots of love and happiness and great memories that were shared over the years with her awesome family and fabulous friends.
Paula shares her heart and hugs to her beloved Grandsons - Aric, Ryan (Josie), Christopher (Hayley), Sam and Luke; Granddaughter-in-law - Deanna, along with the wonderfulness of meeting, knowing and loving her Great Grandchildren - McKinley, Liam, Oliver and Henry.
Paula will be fondly treasured and remembered by us all with great stories of her travels, family gatherings, special events, music, dancing, parties, shoes, boots and a glass of good cheer.
Paula's heart was also shared with her Sister, Dale Kerr (in Memory with Brian Kerr), her "Great " Niece - Leanne McCurdy (Stewart), Nephew - Jamie (Sandra) Kerr, Great Nieces - Jessica (Danny), Krystin and Makenna; Great Nephew - Austin; Great-Great Nieces and Nephews - Cameron, Jax, Quinn, Jaelyn, Nova and Nate. Along with - Bill Banks (Marjorie).
Pre-deceased by her parents - Margaret & Otto.
Special thank you and big shout out to Mill Creek Care Centre - especially 2-East Staff that lovingly provided amazing compassion, fun and care for her over the past 16 months. And, to all who met or knew her at Mill Creek during her residency.
Thank you to 3rd Floor, ISU at RVH - Dr. Hanna, Dr. Jacky, Dr. Ohson, the palliative care team - notably PCA - Jill and her co-team, Nurses - Ana, Aleisha, Devon, Brody and your team, and Drew for his Dad jokes of the day!
Family and Friends may gather with a happy smile at: Basic Funeral Services - Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford St., Barrie, ON L4N 3B5. May 4th, 2024, 12-3pm. Small service 1:00pm, light refreshments & snacks to follow.
