Pauline Denise (Whelan) Brown

Pauline Denise Brown (nee Whelan) daughter of the late Raoul Whelan and Blanche Whelan (nee Blanchette) passed away on April 12th, 2022, at the General Hospital. Pauline was surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Harold William Brown as well as her children Joanne, Ken (France), Michael (Erica) and Angela.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Pauline was one of 7 children. She created many happy memories with her siblings while growing up in Ottawa, Ontario. Once she married Harold William Brown, she became a devoted wife and mother to their children. Pauline built a warm, and welcoming home where she enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Pauline was also a devoted and proud grandmother to her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pauline enjoyed puzzles, appreciated life's simplicities, and loved being a homemaker. She was always the person people turned to and was a caregiver to those that needed her throughout her lifetime. She was always there to lend support and companionship to those near and dear. She will be fondly remembered and missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Orleans United Church, 1111 Orleans Boulevard.
