Passed away on September 26th 2022 in his 77th year.
Peter Hand of Barrie, Beloved husband of Susan Hand. Much loved father of Carri (Ian), Jeff (Kait), Stephanie (Bill), Jonathan (Alycia), Lynsey (Scott). Proud and treasured grandfather of Cameron, Tegan, Madilyn, Charlotte, Jack, Greyson, Skyler, and Sullivan. Pete had a long and distinguished career working as a Laboratory Technologist. After retirement Pete kept busy working part time in property maintenance, small engine repair and spending time with his grandchildren. You could always find Pete tinkering in the garage, nurturing his gardens and mixing up his next Caesar. Over the years Pete had many boats and loved spending his summers on the water with his family, taking trips through the Trent water system and vacationing in the Muskoka's.
Pete will be remembered for his kindness and capacity to love unconditionally. Pete and his witty sense of humor will be sorely missed by his family, friends and loved ones. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Barrie SPCA as Pete was a strong advocate for rescuing cats.
