Peter Sellers

Peter Sellers, born June 17th, 1964, in Buckingham, Québec. He has left a void in the hearts of his loved ones and the community as he passed away on October 8th, 2024 in Gatineau.Peter was a beloved husband to Sylvie Vien and a devoted father to his sons Yves Berube, Mario Berube, and Marc-André Vien. He also cherished his role as a grandfather to Emma, Rosalie, and Jacob. 

Peter's life was deeply influenced by the love and support of his family. He was the son of Virginia, and the late John Sellers. Peter shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings Terry Sellers (Christine Morin), Frank Sellers (Patty Davis-Sellers), and Jeffrey Sellers (Trish Olmstead). He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. 

Known for having a big heart and an infectious sense of humour that could light up any room he entered; Peter will be remembered for being a loving family man who always put others before himself. His kindness touched countless lives within the community where he lived. 

A church service honoring Peter's memory will be held at Our Lady of Victory, 490 rue Charles in Gatineau, on November 9th, 2024, beginning with condolences at 10:30 a.m. A celebration of his life will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, 176 rue Joseph in Gatineau. 

As we mourn this profound loss together with those who knew him best - his family - we are reminded that although Peter is no longer physically present among us, we now have an angel watching over us from above. 

In memory of Peter, we welcome donations to Canadian Cancer Society. 

May Peter rest peacefully knowing his legacy loves on through those lives he's touched so profoundly. Peter will forever remain alive in our hearts.
