Peter Ka-Kee Shi

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Ian Anderson House in Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 78. Loving husband of Selina. Cherished father of Andy (Gen). Loving grandfather to Ellis. Peter will be missed by his siblings, relatives, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Always dedicated to his family, he immigrated from Hong Kong, his beloved place of birth, in 1987 to Canada in order to provide a better life for his only son. He was a proud branch manager of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank, and continued his banking career at the Royal Bank of Canada. Dad’s passion for good food inspired him to become a great cook himself, and he always enjoyed sharing with others. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour. Friends and family are invited to the St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, 905-566-9403) for visitation on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 11-11:30am, followed by a short ceremony at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ian Anderson House (www.ianandersonhouse.com) are welcome.
