Peter Trottier

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of my father Peter Trottier (76) on June 26, 2023.  Peter passed away at the Extendicare West End Villa nursing home from heart complications.

Peter was born on April 15, 1947 to the late Marguerite and Arthur Trottier in Ottawa, Ontario. Peter’s biggest passion in life was music. He spent most of his younger years playing bass and singing with various bands, most notably Jonas Rock. His battle with dementia took away so many of his memories but his love for music never left him.

Peter was predeceased by his wife Pauline (née Ladouceur) and his brothers Aurel, Maurice and Michael. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen, his son-in-law Keith Helms and his grandson Kaden.

Peter did not wish for a service so in honor of him I invite you to raise a glass and make a toast to his memory. We are here for a short time, so let’s make it a good time.
