(Phillip) Bruce Heal
With great sadness, the family shares the news of Bruce's death at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Born in New Westminster, B.C., Bruce and his wife, Katherine (Jones), moved temporarily to Toronto in 1969. They have lived in the Greater Toronto area ever since, lastly in Whitby. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Katherine; his daughters, Janice (Chris) and Margaret (Bryan); and his grandchildren, Jaden, Miki, and Bella, as well as extended family and friends.
Bruce worked for over 25 years with the Metro Toronto Housing Authority and was active in several congregations of the Presbyterian Church in Canada.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation towards Progressive SupraNuclear Palsy Research at www.tgwhf.ca/tribute, would be appreciated by the family. For on-line donations, please note PSP Research in the comments line.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Bruce on Saturday, May 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 35 Church St. N., Ajax , preceded by visitation with the family at 10.
