Passed away peacefully on Monday June 6th 2016 in her 88th year. Loving wife of Joseph John Gaiot. Beloved mother of Louis with wife Jennifer, Roy and John. Proud grandmother of Lauren. Sister of Caty and Mario. Daughter of the late Francesca Galeazzi Cecchinel and Lorenzo Cecchinel.
Born in Cison di Valmarino, Italy May 4th 1928, and her family home was in nearby Tovena.
Piera had a passion for gardening, and her culinary talents were exemplary and admired by everyone who experienced them. Most importantly, her love was unconditional and her honesty unwavering which garnered the utmost respect from those who knew and loved her. She was also a wonderful listener, a loyal friend and a humble faithful servant of Jehovah.
Memorial service to be conducted at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 355 Gage Avenue, Kitchener on Saturday June 11th 2016 at 2pm.
