Pierre Godard

Pierre Godard, 64, died on Monday, September 3 in Oakville, Ontario, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born on July 24, 1954 to the late André Godard and Jeanne Lazure. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Catherine Galivan-Godard, his children Justin Godard (Vivienne AuYeung) and Nina Godard (Brian Ireland), step-children Rheal Belanger (Lori Belanger) and Angelique Belanger and his grandchildren Alyssa, Austin, Alexander, Cole, Nicholas and Adelaide.
A great lover of music, golf, cycling, travelling and a glass of wine, Pierre never missed a moment to enjoy life to the fullest. He truly embraced his father's motto: "Better to have gone to the party and realized that it wasn't good, then to have missed a good party completely".
He was loved by his family, friends, co-workers, neighbours and golf buddies and will be greatly missed. A celebration of his life will be held at RattleSnake Point Golf Course on Sunday, September 23 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
