Pierre Gedeon Majeau

MAJEAU, Pierre Gedeon, Joseph passed away peacefully in his 93rd year on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jeanne and brother André. Beloved father of Pierre (Anita), Ray (Laurie), and Louise. Proud grandfather of Ashley, Dayna, and Marissa. Pierre was born March 16, 1925, to Paul G. and Rebecca Majeau in Montreal, PQ. He was raised and attended college in Montreal. Shortly after college, he moved to Ottawa, Ontario, and worked at CESCO Electronics, excelling in sales. In 1957, he married his lovely wife Jeanne and they started their family. In the mid- 60s, he moved on to Wackid Radio, where he remained until he retired in 1995. Ever the consummate sales pro, his work was fueled by his lifelong passion for music. Any new piece of electronics that came into the store, he had to "test" out - so as to give his customers an honest assessment of same. His other passions included the Habs, a cold bottle of Molson Stock and some old time Quebec jokesters. The family wishes to convey a special thank you to the staff at Monfort Seniors Center for their care for the last five years. Cremation has already taken place at the direction of the family. His ashes have been placed next to Jeanne, where they can spend their eternity together.
