Pierrette Blimkie
July 17, 1938 – September 30, 2016
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing away of Pierrette Florence (Laporte) Blimkie on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Midland Homes in Toronto. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband James Graydon (Bud) Blimkie. Pierrette is survived by her loving children daughters Judy, Aimee (Chris Freer) and son Michael (Elizabeth Mitri) all from the Toronto area. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jenna and Emily Freer, Megan and Alyssa Blimkie.
Pierrette is pre-deceased by her parents Aime Laporte and Florence (Mantha), her brothers Peter, Ronald, Rheal and Martin D'Auteuil and her sister Rita Keading. Survived by her sister Henriette.
She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, her friends and the many patients she took care of while working as a RNA nurse at the Elliot Lake Hospital.
At her request, cremation with a memorial service for family at a later date.
